Once they arrive on the Mac they will appear as files, but this is just a ruse. There is something to be said for keeping them separate until you feel you don't need them anymore.įor the rest, yeah, just copy all of the folders ending in ".scriv", wherever you saved them. Locate your backup folder on Windows, and copy all of those to the new machine as well, potentially storing them right where you will choose to keep Scrivener's backups on the Mac-but by all means put them aside in a different folder, if you prefer.My advice would be to actually copy two things: Scrivener is the go-to app for writers of all kinds, used every day by best-selling novelists, screenwriters, essayists, students, academics, lawyers, journalists, translators and more.
